Capturing Teaching Excellence for Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership

We're passionate storytellers at Gippsland360, and our recent project with the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership (the Academy) allowed us to showcase the power of video in the educational sector.

We were thrilled to collaborate with Melbourne-based production company Kine Graffiti to create a video highlighting the Academy's prestigious Teaching Excellence Program (TEP). This unique initiative empowers highly skilled teachers to reach even greater heights in their profession through a year-long journey of research, reflection, and application.

Our goal was to capture the essence of the TEP – its rigorous academic focus, its practical classroom impact, and the personal transformations it fosters in educators. We wanted to create a video that not only informs but inspires, showcasing the passion and dedication that define the TEP experience.

Partnering with our long-time collaborator Josie from Kine Graffiti, we created a comfortable and safe environment for the TEP participants to share their stories. Josie's expertise in talent management allowed us to authentically capture the emotional impact of the program, while we focused on crafting a visually compelling narrative through thoughtful lighting, audio, and camera work.

The result is a video that celebrates the transformative power of professional development and the profound difference that exceptional teachers make in the lives of their students.
